Manila’s fine dining lovers now has a new reason to head south, with the soft opening of Nest Modern Table and Bar, the sky deck restaurant and lounge with an al fresco vibe for that quick getaway from the city, without actually leaving it.

Nest is atop a centralized location that provides a spectacular view of the city skyline. Its interior strikes a balance between sophistication and relaxation, giving off the feel of refuge from the usual urban gravity.

“We wanted to bring a classy yet laidback sanctuary where people can come in comfortably and just enjoy exquisitely prepared dishes and drinks,” said Nest co-owner Patty Cortez.

Nest Modern Table and Bar transforms the rooftop of W Fifth Avenue Building into a candlelit dining area that makes diners feel like walking up a garden path.
Nest Modern Table and Bar is a gourmet sanctuary where Asian flavors meet western-style cooking. It features a full dining menu of modern Asian cuisine, thoroughly prepared by its resident chef Benjo Tuason. Chef Tuason has extensive experience as an executive chef in Australia and shared that he is very eager to bring this experience to the Philippines. 

Apart from the fresh and modern cuisine, Nest also offers an extensive selection of cocktails and beers on tap. It has an eight Tap Draft system to serve patrons with freshly brewed craft beers. While it’s fruity and floral cocktails are signature creations of chief beverage consultant Lee Watson, who has already made a name in the local beverage and bartending industry.

Manila’s foodies and those who simply wanted to relax and dine headed to Nest, the beautiful new restaurant space taking over the rooftop scene in Bonifacio Global City.
Nest also seeks to entertain diners with its good lineup of live act offerings, such as acoustic nights every Wednesday, house DJs spinning on Fridays, and RnB mixes on Saturdays. Meanwhile, Happy Hour runs from 5PM to 9PM six days a week, excluding Sunday.

Nest is setting the stage as the latest place-to-be, being situated at the center of the Metro’s restaurant and nightlife scene, with an amazing view, the best craft beers bar, and chefs taking small plates to a new level. It is an upscale bar-restaurant hybrid that allows guests to experience cutting edge design and offerings, yet dwell in familiarity that makes them feel at home. 

Guests were served exquisitely-prepared dishes, and dined in comfort with Nest’s top-notch facilities to go along with its unparalleled service.
This filling refuge in the city is located at the roof deck of W Fifth Avenue Building, 5th Street and 32nd Street, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
