My Nuat Thai Relaxing Weekend & Giveaway!

By September 20, 2014 , , , ,

We are always excited about weekends as these are the times to relax and be with family and friends. Sometimes, it is also when we squeeze some time to pamper ourselves especially after a long and stressful week.

One place to go to to treat yourself to a pampering and soothing massage is Nuat Thai Foot and Body Massage. We recently visited a new branch in 238 Banawe, which was near to our place in Manila.

The place looks inviting and the staff very accommodating. Wifey and I decided on trying out some of their best offerings- - the Nuat Thai Foot Massage, Body Scrub + Aromatherapy for me while she chose to have the Nuat Thai Foot Massage + Swedish massage . In total, we spent two and a half hours each of pure relaxation and just letting go of all worries and stress.

The Nuat Thai Foot Massage (P 250.00) was an hour long which started with a quick foot cleansing and scrub,  We were led first to a small slightly lighted corner in the otherwise dark room.  To make it the experience more comfortable, and to save our street clothes from getting wet or oily, we were asked to wear rubber slippers and shorts.

The foot massage was in itself so relaxing already that it can make you sleep! In every stroke, you will feel how their expert staff were thoroughly trained to hit every pressure points and stressed muscles.

Coming from a recent trip to Boracay, I decided to get the Body Scrub with Almond Milk (P 1, 000. 00, packaged with the Aromatherapy Massage) to get rid of the burnt and dead skin off my back and other parts of my body which were exposed to sunburns.  It would be wise to do this probably once a month to help exfoliate the skin since we are also always exposed to pollutions.  It was rejuvenating as well since the scrub helps in the blood circulation.

After the scrub, I ended the whole session on an Aromatherapy massage.  We were asked to choose from an array of scents to help us relax. I chose Eucalyptus, since I always prefer the minty option.
Wifey and I shared the space as well while she also had her Swedish massage (P 350.00).

All in all, our first Nuat Thai experience was very relaxing, energizing and it was an afternoon well spent. Nuat Thai is also an ideal place to bring friends and family to enjoy massages together. Their Banawe branch is also right next to cool restaurants where you can probably dine after a good massage.

Check out their list of services.

  5. Honestly, I've been always delighted to try a body massage since I'm always stressed and tired because of work. And, for the record, I've never experienced or tried any massage yet. So, I find your article really tempting to try it out. Maybe it's time for me to have a break with my work and try something to pamper myself. I would definitely say that, If I'll be one of the lucky winners of Mix of Everything's give away, my first ever body or foot massage experience will be memorable. So I guess, I deserve to be one of those lucky readers. (Crossing fingers) :)

  7. I guess I deserve to have a free spa treat after a month of a roller coaster major transition, career & personal! I had moved out our entire plant operations from malolos, bulacan to sta rosa, laguna! an end to end transfer of all the stuff- our people/ equipments & fleet/ files & furnitures that started on mid-September.

apart from that, was my own relocation also of our household. it was such a tiring, exhausting, stressful, back & neck aches, stiffed muscles carrying all our stuff and boxes. now were all set as of October 1, its time to sit, look how was it? and #rewardstime #patmyback (y)

oops, nuat thai is just across our head office in pioneer highlands building! ;)
