Robinsons Supermarket just officially launched its Wellness Festival at Robinsons Magnolia last June 19, 2014. That is one of the goals of this amazing supermarket group, giving healthy choices to families and  helping them develop a lifetime commitment to healthy living.


After launching their health and wellness section last year. They are now launching the Wellness Festival at a bigger scale. Robinsons Supermarket will be holding a series of 3-day Wellness Festivals, Which started yesterday until June 22. This is to encourage Filipino families to eat healthy and make more educated nutritional decisions.


The festival showcases fun and engaging booths that will enable people to try out healthier options and practices. They have the Unilever’s Dove consultation booth, and Nestle’s general wellness booth that includes fat analysis check, BMI check, and nutrition counseling, to name a few.

The beautiful setup of the place sends a message on what was instore for us inside the wellness area. Organic and healthy choices displayed inside and can be purchased. This will also go for the other Wellness Festival in other malls.

Another brilliant idea is Robinsons Supermarket has also employed “Shop Smart” tag labels that color codes items based on health benefits, nutritional content, and price discounts. It further established its position in promoting health and wellness by partnering with the Department of Science and Technology’s Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI), to provide up-to-date information on food and its nutrient contributions.


Hosted by Angel Jacob, she shared to the crowd how Robinsons Supermarket believes that a family’s healthier life starts from well-aware and educated purchases, and that is just what they are giving its customers. A representative of Department of Science and Technology’s Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) was also there and shared how happy they are with the Robinsons initiative in giving end encouraging healthy lifestyle and nutrition.


“We wanted to shift the paradigm of grocery shopping, so we decided to place all our efforts behind helping consumers get the adequate attention, support and education they need to make meaningful and long-lasting improvements to their health through smart purchases,” said Jody Gadia, Robinsons Supermarket general manager.

The crowd got excited when the Team Kramer family went on stage and shared their grocery shopping habits and hot it has changed their lifestyle.
 

Families who want to know how they can start living a healthy life can visit the Wellness Festival which will also be held at Robinsons Ermita from July 18-20 and Robinsons Imus from July 25-27.

One interesting booth I saw there is the True Value's area. Highlighting the Breville Food Processor. Such and amazing amazing machine and Chef Emman Galvez was there to quickly share about the benefit and the types of food processor mixing. Absorbed and learned a lot from this chef in the span of our 3 minute chat.
