Express yourself with UNIQLO’s UT - Soon to open at SM Mall of Asia

By May 02, 2012 ,

They ask us. Why wear a T-shirt, when you can wear UT?
As one of their philosophy, UNIQLO does not dictate trends but allows us to express ourselves with how we wear Uniqlo's UT. This global brand offers UT, which basically means Uniqlo Tshirt. They are presenting it as a brand of Personal Expression.

The UNIQLO store is in the process of polishing up its store in time for the opening on June at the SM Mall of Asia. Filipinos now have access to this brand that helps us speak how we feel. This store will have lots and hundreds of ways to help us express more. Their store will have a wide range of concepts and designs to choose from.

So what is the difference of UT from any other T-shirt? Well UT as they say is a tool to “make a statement.” Embodying the UT Philosophy -- “A T-shirt is more than just a T-shirt. It’s an expression of who you are. Where you’ve been. What you love.  That’s the UT philosophy.”

Check out the hoarding wall of UT. I took pictures during one of their events held last week.

And just by looking at the designs you can see that they do have a wide range of designs and inpirations. UNIQLO collaborates with highly recognized names in the global pop culture in order to create a wide range of designs that captures people’s imagination and desire for self-expression. Yet despite the international stature of the design partners, UT products are priced affordably so that every Filipino can enjoy them. L. Ashley, Barbie, Hello Kitty, CONCORD MUSIC GROUP, Metal Gear, and Gundam, are just some of the designs to choose from. Kids, teens, yuppies and young at heart—there is definitely one UT for everyone.

I can see that for UNIQLO, T-shirts are not just T-shirts. Their strong statement that it is a brand that helps people express who they are, their character and personality. UNIQLO promises to offer many T-shirt designs every year so that whoever you are and what you feel, there will always be a UT just for you.

Oh by the way, they also have an online campaign, check out my  “UT VOTE AND WIN” post here. With that campaign you get to win UT merchandise—or even a trip to Japan. All you have to do is simply “LIKE” the UNIQLO Philippines Facebook Fan Page (www.Facebook.com/uniqlo.ph).
